Item #5 - Mary - Is There No Other Way?

I've often wondered how Mary felt when Christ went to the cross. This terra cotta miniature displays her sadness and I feel the question she had to have asked Father God at some point, "Is there no other way?"

This piece was constructed in a completely different way from the musician pieces. I decided to try a carving technique instead of a building technique in order to make it look like a wood carving. In reality, it is terra cotta clay with underglaze. A coating has been placed on the underglaze to protect the color.

"Mary - Is There No Other Way?" stands 2 3/8 inches tall.

Price: $75 (All prices include shipping.)

Item #4 - Meet the Band Series - Keys

As Meet the Band Series' second member, Keys is excited to play for you. Keys is terra cotta clay with underglaze and glaze. My favorite part of this character is his bandana. Secondly, I really love the way the red glazed turned out on the flooring around him. I'd love to have a floor that color myself.

A coating has been placed on the underglaze to protect the color. Keys is 2 inches tall. His platform measures 4 inches wide x 2.5 long.

There are three other members of the Meet the Band Series. Guitarman and Keys are the only two completed at this time. Singer and Bongo are coming soon. Band members are available for sale individually.

Price: $100(All prices include shipping.)

Item #3 - Meet the Band Series - Guitarman

The Meet the Band Series began with Guitarman. A good friend of mine, Allen, is in a band and plays guitar. When I thought of him, this little guy came into being, and following soon after was the rest of the Meet the Band boys.

Guitarman is terra cotta clay with underglaze and glaze. A coating has been placed on the underglaze to protect the color.

Guitarman is 2.25 inches tall.

Item #2 - Acorn

Acorn was born at a resort in Disneyworld. He travelled all the way to Kirkland, WA where he grew into the little dude he is today. The odd thing about Acorn is that his ears were the first thing to grow. Similar to human children, his teeth came in last and gave him a precious smile. Acorn is made of terra cotta clay with an underglaze finish. Including his ears, he stands in at exactly 2 inches tall. His total body length from the tip of his little black nose to the end of his bunny white tail is 3 inches.

Acorn was recently up for sale at Kirkland City Hall for $100. I am offering him here for $75 including shipping. Enjoy Acorn. Give him a home. And help feed the kids in Zambia.
